Welcome to SA Industrial Suppliers™. These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between SA Industrial Suppliers (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”, “the supplier”) and you, the customer (“you”, “the buyer”).
By purchasing or using our products or services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. QUOTATIONS

1. All quotations are subject to stock availability.
2. Quotes remain valid for seven (7) days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
3. Prices and availability may change without notice after the validity period expires.
4. Quotations are not binding until accepted in writing and payment has been received (where applicable).

2. MANUFACTURED & CUSTOMIZED UNITS

This includes:
IBC tanks, Flow Bins, plastic drums, steel drums, fabricated units, trailers, skids, transport units, and any customized or modified product.

1. Manufacturing commences only after full payment has cleared in our bank account.
2. Production lead time is 1–14 working days, depending on customization and order size.
3. Customers must NOT exceed the GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) indicated on the data plate.
4. Customized, built-to-order, or specially sourced items are non-refundable (CPA exemption for custom goods).

3. WARRANTY & GUARANTEE POLICY

3.1 General Warranty Terms

1. All warranties require that the complete unit be returned to our premises for assessment.
2. Defects must be reported immediately upon discovery.
3. All repairs under warranty are performed only at our workshop.
4. The warranty does not cover transportation to and from our premises.

3.2 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not apply to damage caused by:

• Misuse, abuse, or negligence
• Power surges, lightning, load shedding, or improper wiring
• Accidental or deliberate damage
• Chemical misuse or incorrect application
• Unauthorized modification or repair
• Normal wear and tear
• Lack of maintenance
• Use contrary to supplied manuals or instructions

3.3 Warranty Periods

Unless otherwise stated in writing on the quote or invoice:

• New Flowbin™ tanks: One fill, one decant only
• Used Flowbin™ tanks: No warranty (sold “as is”)
• Built Units: 12-month warranty
• All other products: 12-month warranty

Warranties comply with applicable South African consumer legislation.

4. SERVICES, REPAIRS & WORKSHOP TERMS

1. A Strip & Quote fee applies to diagnostic work, starting at R470.00 (excl. VAT).
2. If the customer rejects the repair quotation, the diagnostic fee must be paid before collection.
3. If repairs proceed, the diagnostic fee is waived.
4. Any additional faults discovered during testing will be quoted separately.
5. Machines or items not collected within 10 days after the repair/quotation notice may be scrapped or disposed of to recover space.
6. We are not liable for loss or damage to uncollected items after the 10-day period.

5. HANDLING FEES / ORDER CANCELLATION

1. When a product is bought and paid for, or a deposit is made, the item is reserved for the buyer.
2. If the buyer cancels the order (excluding custom products), a 15% handling fee applies.
3. Custom-built or special-order products cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded under the CPA unless defective.

6. COLLECTION OF PRODUCTS

1. Goods may be collected only once full payment has cleared in our bank account.
2. Proof of payment may be required before releasing goods.
3. The customer is responsible for inspecting the product at collection and confirming it is in acceptable condition.

7. DELIVERY – THIRD-PARTY COURIERS

1. We may arrange delivery through trusted third-party transporters when requested.
2. Risk of loss or damage during third-party transport passes to the buyer upon dispatch.
3. The buyer must inspect deliveries immediately and report visible damage to the courier on arrival.
4. Delivery times given are estimates and not guaranteed.

8. USED / RECONDITIONED FLOW BINS & DRUMS

1. Reconditioned or used units are inspected before sale and sold “as is” (voetstoots).
2. The buyer acknowledges the condition prior to purchase.
3. If the buyer purchases without physical inspection, they accept the condition and waive rights to return for reasons related to appearance or pre-existing wear.
4. This does not affect CPA rights relating to undisclosed defects.

9. CUSTOMIZED PRODUCTS & SPECIAL ORDERS

1. Customized, fabricated, or specially sourced units are manufactured specifically for the buyer.
2. These items are not eligible for return, cancellation, exchange, or refund, unless defective under CPA requirements.
3. Any specification changes requested after production begins may incur additional charges.

10. RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

(Formatted to comply with Google Merchant Center requirements)

10.1 Standard Return Window

• Eligible products may be returned within 30 days of delivery or collection.
• Only unused, undamaged items in original condition and packaging qualify.

10.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following products cannot be returned unless defective:

• Custom-built units
• Fabricated items
• Special-order goods
• Used / reconditioned Flow Bins or drums
• Items sold as “voetstoots”
• Chemicals or hazardous liquids
• Items damaged through misuse or incorrect operation

10.3 How to Request a Return

To start a return, customers must:

1. Email [sales@saindustrialsupplies.co.za] with the order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).
2. Wait for a return authorization (issued within 2 business days).
3. Follow return instructions provided by our support team.

Unapproved returns may be rejected.

10.4 Refund Processing Time

• Once the returned item is inspected and approved, refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.
• Shipping fees are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error.

10.5 Return Shipping

• If the product is defective, we will cover return shipping.
• For change-of-mind returns (where allowed), the customer pays return courier costs.

11. CHEMICAL PRODUCTS – INDEMNITY

1. All chemical liquids supplied are manufactured by registered chemical companies.
2. We rely on technical data provided by our suppliers but cannot guarantee accuracy or completeness.
3. Use, handling, storage, and application of chemical products are entirely at the customer’s risk.
4. Formulations may change without notice; updated data sheets are available upon request.

12. DISCLAIMER & INDEMNITY

By purchasing, using, or installing our products, the buyer agrees:

1. SA Industrial Suppliers (Pty) Ltd, its employees, agents, and contractors shall not be liable for:
   • injury, death, or property damage,
   • financial loss,
   • or consequential damages of any kind,
     whether arising from use of products, on-site visits, or services rendered.
2. The buyer indemnifies the supplier against any claims resulting from misuse, incorrect installation, or unsafe operation of products.
3. Nothing in this clause removes rights guaranteed by the Consumer Protection Act.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), where applicable.
